The Stronger With You line keeps growing, and honestly, at this point it's hard to keep track of all the flankers. Power of You is the latest addition, and Armani is clearly trying to chase that sweet, warm, crowd-pleasing DNA that made the original such a hit. But does this one actually bring something new to the table, or is it just another cash grab?

What Does It Smell Like?
Right off the spray, you get hit with a blast of sweet cinnamon and cardamom. It's warm, it's spicy, and it grabs your attention immediately. There's a candied fruit quality in the opening — think like a glazed apple mixed with warm spices. It's not subtle at all.
As it dries down, you start picking up on the vanilla and tonka base. This is where Power of You lives most of its life — a sweet, warm, slightly boozy vanilla with a hint of chestnut. There's also a faint suede note that adds some texture and keeps it from being just a straight-up sugar bomb.
If you've smelled the original Stronger With You or Intensely, you'll recognize the family resemblance. But Power of You leans harder into that sweet-spicy territory. It's less casual and more "I'm trying to make an impression tonight."
Performance
This is where things get interesting. Power of You actually projects pretty well for the first 2-3 hours. People around you will smell it. After that initial burst, it settles into a closer skin scent that sticks around for about 6-7 hours total.
It's decent, but not mind-blowing. For an EDP, you'd expect a bit more staying power. You'll probably want to reapply if you're heading out for a full evening.

- The sweetness can be too much. If you over-spray this (and it's tempting because the opening is so good), it becomes headache-inducing. Two sprays max, seriously.
- Longevity is just okay. For the price point, I'd want another hour or two out of it.
- It's not very unique. In a world full of sweet designer fragrances, this doesn't really stand out in a crowd. It smells good, but it doesn't have that "wow, what are you wearing?" factor.
Buy or Skip?
If you don't own ANY Stronger With You fragrance, Power of You is actually a solid pickup. It smells great, it's crowd-pleasing, and it works well for the colder months. It's a safe choice for date nights.
But if you already have Intensely or the original, you can probably skip this one. The differences aren't dramatic enough to justify another bottle in the same family. Put that money toward something that fills a different gap in your collection.
